Hello

Welcome to my website! I am a New York City based psychotherapist dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey toward improved mental health and well-being.

My Story

I am committed to providing a safe and nurturing space for clients to explore their emotions, gain insights and develop effective coping strategies. I strive to provide accessible, culturally competent and LGBTQIA affirming therapy for people of all backgrounds, races, cultures, abilities and identities. My trauma-informed therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also incorporate techniques from Psychodynamic Therapy to provide a personalized approach that is tailored to each client's unique needs.

Education and Experience

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and earned a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University. I continued my education at post graduate professional programs, including the Martha K. Selig Institute and Ackerman Institute for the Family. I regularly engage in continuing education and stay up to date with the latest research and therapeutic approaches to ensure the highest quality care for my clients.

In my career, I have run groups for people seeking relief from panic attacks; provided counseling and support for families in the child welfare system; supervised a team of social workers helping families impacted by substance use disorders; and provided therapy to a diverse population of all ages in a variety of mental health settings.

Confidentiality and Ethical Standards

Maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines is of utmost importance to me. I strictly follow ethical codes of conduct and provide a confidential space where clients can freely express themselves without fear of judgement or breach of privacy.

Getting Started

Taking the first step toward therapy can be daunting, but it is also an act of courage and self-care. If you are considering therapy, please feel free to reach out. I offer an initial consultation to discuss your concerns, answer questions and determine if we are a good fit for working together.

I look forward to walking alongside you on your path to healing and growth.
