What to expect

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Here’s how it works.

We begin with a free 15-minute phone consultation, a chance to talk about what’s going on, ask any questions you have, and get a sense of whether we’d work well together. No commitment, just a conversation.

If we decide to move forward, our first full session is 50 minutes. You’ll share more about what brought you in, what you’ve been dealing with, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. From there, we’ll figure out together what the work looks like.

Sessions are typically weekly and available in person at my Brooklyn office or via telehealth anywhere in New York State. Daytime and evening appointments are available.

Individual Therapy (16+)

One-on-one therapy for adults and teens 16 and up. We’ll work at your pace on whatever brought you in, whether that’s OCD, anxiety, a life transition, or something harder to name.

Couples Therapy

For partners who want to communicate better, get unstuck, or just invest in their relationship. I work with couples at all stages and of all backgrounds.

Virtual Therapy

Online sessions via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform for anyone in New York State. Same work, more flexibility.
